Gus Johnson plays all sorts of characters, from Mitchell Robbins to JK Rowling to some guy in God's Country to Imbiamba Jombes to filming videos with his mom to pillow guy to the my pool guy to the Gus & Eddy Podcast to small town reviews to how they use shotguns in movies to the tough kid growing up to your friend who has a knife to spotify ad guy to the how they use shotgun to the gus johnson shotgun... I don't know why I am writing this in third person. I am Gus. I wrote this. Also subscribe to the Gus & Eddy Podcast please. Eddy Burback and I make it and it's ok. My brother is Sven Johnson, that guy's alright. Guys, if you put all this silly stuff in the description, it helps your videos. isn't that wild?

Thanks for watching and sharing! Don't stab people. I'll see you later.

  • pokemon go to my twitch channel

  • shoe

  • Reminder that if everyone took great care of their childhood cards, they wouldn't be worth nearly as much as they are today! We all had to suffer losing or breaking our cards for them to be so Stonks today

  • The reason old cards are expensive now in a nutshell.

  • The reason old cards are expensive now in a nutshell.

  • I think I'm sitting on a jackpot, cuz when I was like 5 or so, i loved getting Pokemon cards and looking at the images. And boy do I remember seeing SO MANY cards which are probably worth a shit ton now

  • anyone ever put them on ur bike wheels and pretend it was a motorcycle, now that I have a real one, it's pretty similar

  • This is so true it hurts

  • I once got a Secret Rare Pokémon card when I was like ten. Even at the time, I knew the thing was incredibly valuable, so I used it in a game, like, twice and then never used it again out of fear of ruining it. I still have that card.

  • i had a pokemon book with slots and only took them out bc it felt good to hold a cool thing i own and then put them back. i never even knew how to play the game 😭

  • after the pokemon movie came out we convinced one kid if you scratch off the holographic mewtwo there was a mew behind it this was around the time of the gameboy glitch for missing no so it was all believable lore

  • I remember someone gave me a really cool looking Charizard card. Someone else wanted to trade 5 cards in exchange for my Charizard. I did the trade because I though about quantity over quality. I really regret doing it though. Don’t know if it had any worth, but it looked so freaking awesome in my memories.

  • Someplace, somewhere, my fortune lies.

  • I never did that lol

  • The fact that it was Gus Johnson’s would probably make it rarer

  • They were called holographic cards back in my day and we all thought they were going to be worth a fortune. I remember having heaps of them, but they all got ruined from those card protectors or from being stuck together and sitting in the attic for 20 years.

  • Maxmoefoe's pokemon channel is disappointed in you

  • 100% truth

  • This hurts so bad...I'm pretty sure I traded my shiny Charizard for a Chansey because the kid convinced me it was stronger cause it had higher hp.

  • I drew on my base set cards to make them Dutch cards. I didn't have any holos anyway.

  • Some kid tried to scam me out of a holographic Blastoise that I had. I realized what happened soon after and turned it around on him by telling his mom he tried to get me to rob a small shop that was nearby his house and I acted traumatized to sell the illusion. Told her that he told me he took my card to sell it to "buy a gun". She eventually got the card back from him and gave it back to me. 17 years later that same dude murdered his mom in a drug induced fit of rage. He's in prison now. Godspeed Tyler.

  • A ha I found out it was a water type so it could be a energy

  • I see little kids handle them and I get so annoyed

  • I remember using my charleader as a book mark

  • *thantour had a stroke watching this.. he will never be the same again*

  • If any else of us has posted this video... we would have 13 views. GJ Gus for uhhh.... ... .. .... uhhh...

  • Bend it

  • Damn I could smell the PB&J from here

  • God, just give me caprisun and I’m back in 3rd grade

  • My lord i hated when those kids came over, they would leave grease and sticky residue ALL OVER MY CONTROLLERS, MARTIN!!!!!

  • I gave away a binder full of original Pokémon cards to some kid at school when I was 10 and lost interest. The funny part was my mom told me to keep them and I didn’t listen. I guess once my brother didn’t clean his room and my mom threw out all of his baseball cards. Many of which ended up becoming worth a whole lot. Just one of my many missed opportunities at incredible wealth.

    • apt name lol

  • i used to do this with my library books to mark the page I was on even though there were free bookmarks available. welp

  • when yugioh popped my friend andrew would regularly leave his cards in his pockets and they would get washed, i would be so mad at him lol

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • Why is everybody commenting about some card game on a video about how we used to eat uncrustables as kids?

  • Aw man I remember having cards in 1998 and I put them in my backpocket and was playing in the hose then remembered they were back there stuck together.

  • This is an attack towards the Pokemon community, this physically hurts me.

  • Back in the early 2000s, I was attending the YMCA summer camp thing and tons of kids were bringing their Pokémon cards because duh. There were major issues with theft of the cards, so one kid I knew decided to take a permanent marker and write their name on the back of every single one of their 300+ cards. They finished, got up and showed everyone their hardwork, to which a counselor responded "aren't they meant to be TRADING cards?" I still have the Tangela I got in a trade with them, which I now keep in my special stash of cards with sentimental value.

  • I had first edition holo Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard. I traded Venusaur and Blastoise for a Pokemon Stadium cartridge, and I sold Charizard in high school for $50. God damnit. I still actually might have a first edition holo Alakazam somewhere, where ever my mom is if she still has them.

  • I remember kids used to trade YuGiOh and Pokemon cards at the summer rec program like they were doing straight drug deals

  • I didn't screw up my cards, but my parents had a garage sale at some point and just sold the 400 or however many I had without saying anything to me. For like, $5. I doubt I had any kind of lifechanging value cards, but that pile wasn't worth throwing out for $5. Still annoyed by it.

  • My brothers and I used to collect Pokémon when we were kids and I swear at least one of us had the shiny rare charizard card. I’m not 100% sure but I feel like i seen it. Sadly as we grew up we stopped collecting them and we moved so much that they’re all long gone ):

  • I honestly kept pretty good care of mine I just probably have a lot of finger prints on them lol

  • NOOOOoOOOOOoO

  • This hurts me.

  • I wonder what card it actually was

  • Let’s just remember that none of the rare cards today would be nearly as rare if we hadn’t done this shit

  • I ripped a shiny mew two at 6 :((((

  • Imagine the cards in this video are worth a fortune in 20 years.

  • *YOU CAN'T MAKE ME HATE A PERSON FASTER!!! AAAAAAAAAAA*

  • I have a holo palkia thats bent and scratched to hell. It is worth 150$ mint.

  • Imagine the amount of people who tore them up just cause

  • *this hurts me on so many levels*

  • No ..... Fuckin hell no

  • Now do a sequel about the current generation

  • Wow I was the only kid that just put them in books and just liked looking at em. My pokemon tiny figures though are fucked beyond reason.

  • I did actually do that to shiny Charizard

  • You can practically see the *pain* on his face when he bends it.

    • I have probably lost around 10,000 dollar due to this very reason

  • Hopefully those one s where bad

  • help, my brain

  • I remember my friend gave a Charizard and a couple other powerful ones when I was a kid and I lost interest in them and just left them outside one day.

    • @Ramen_Noodlez I never saw them again....

    • F I hope they weren't ruined lol

  • Imagine the cards in this video are worth a fortune in 20 years.

  • Same in Murica.. Same in Sweden.. All the same. Gotta bend those cards.

  • Don't worry everyone, after constant pausing and checking I realized the card wasn't a shiny charizard. It's just a worthless blastoise.

    • A true savior to society. Thank you for your service. :salute:

    • thats like me when i was 10 and i got the 10k worth charizard but i decided to give it to my friend since i thought it was bad:(

  • a few months ago i literally found some very old and very valuable pokèmon cards in a friend's collection, some were bent in the middle for this EXACT reason and all of them were taped on all four edges because when he was a kid he wanted to "protect them"

  • this hurt to watch so much

  • Imagine the cards in this video are worth a fortune in 20 years.

  • oh the mistakes

  • The second I opened my holo charzard it put it in a hard case. Smart then smart now kek

  • When I was that ignorant I wasn't to into the cards so I just kept them in a tin. That's not to say they didn't get damaged (they did)

  • thankfully im not stupid and i keep my cards in little containers, and cause of that my collection of around $300 has gone up to probably over $1000 in worth now

  • Painful

  • I have probably lost around 10,000 dollar due to this very reason

  • Gotta appreciate the random unexplainable cut on the side of his face

  • Hurt my soul watching this i was always careful and kept mine in a box untill one foster family burnt them all for being demonic

  • It's so true lmao. I always took care of my holos, I figured they were more valuable, but I saw so many other kids do this to theirs lol.

  • This reminds me of when I gave away a mega charizard ex…regret

  • That actual card he his holding is a weedle.

  • thats like me when i was 10 and i got the 10k worth charizard but i decided to give it to my friend since i thought it was bad:(

  • It would always be during recess or lunch I swear

  • I had 150 shiny 1st edition cards kept in pretty good condition in plastic sleeve folders. Sold them when I was 13 or 14 for $1 each shiny. Was stoked with $150. Threw the other hundreds of cards away except for a regular cubone that I glued into a book as he was my favourite. Haunts me.

  • I know how to play the game,I am the superior Pokemon card collecter

  • I would never lol I cared about my stuff anyone else like that?

  • Triggered.

  • No not how people do it there are different things you can put them in

  • I prob have like 20 or 25 shiny Pikachus

  • But that why there worth something tho, everyone kept it be worthless which is why beanie babies are worthless

  • yep

  • forget the first time you were scammed"

  • That is exactly how it was

  • my friends and I didn’t know how to play the card game really so we didn’t use energies or evolution or anything but before we battled eachother we put all our cards facedown and picked a random 6 to battle eachother with and we were only allowed 3 3rd evolution/legendaries and to mark them we made big black pen marks on the back of them. I swear we wasted 100k for what they are worth now😂

    • The way Sven showed up with a packet of crisps just adds so much more pain to the collectors out there

  • ow

  • My mom threw out all of my collector cards, I had eight stupid box full of comic book collector cards and pokémon cards and magic the gathering cards. I went to a card show once and I saw like 80% of my collection for sale and the lowest price card was $250.00. I've never wanted to beat somebody up more in my life. I debated hiring a woman to kick my mom's ass. But of course I didn't have cards to sell so I couldn't afford it. Well played Mom, well played.

  • Same with magic...

  • this is why they are worth so much

  • Yes

  • AGHHHHHHHH! lmfao!

  • “Charlizard” 💀

  • I actually never got into Pokemon cards as a kid, my younger brother did though, i was more of a Beyblade, CS 1.6 kid.

  • A friend of mine gave me a Onix as my first card in 2nd grade. I started to trade my way up and rip off other clueless kids. "Oof, holographic Venosour? He's a fat plant and can't do anything. Look at that stone snake, he can dig underground, he's huge. I like you, so I'll give you this awesome Onix for that crappy plant" At the end of 4th grade, i had 200+ cards, lots of holographic, first edition. My mom never bought me any cards so I took the TRADING in "Trading Card Game" very serious. Poor other kids
